You are asking us to use velvet and turn our heavy weapons into finesse weapons so we can land on stuff we did a month ago, sorry, not happening. I don't see you telling mages not to use Green garnet or archers not to use mahog just so they could tweak some other stat to fight something as effectively they used to a month ago.
I have adapted and just get the black pages (which you can get every 24 hours). With the black pages I'm not getting evaded to the point of frustration.
Still though, think about what you are saying with this velvet nonsense. That just brings the new tier of weapons back down to the old tier yet mages now have +20 melee wands that drop that way on normal loot and never have to really use brass, maybe on a couple wands for special situations. Archers are able to land shots as well without special tinkering needed.
If you aren't dual wield then there is really no point for velvet.
