I'm not sure if anyone has noticed from reading April's release fiction but it appears the author of the historical record about the Virindi (their origins and history) which is being told right now (March & April event) is none other than Candeth Martine, and he wrote is back in Portal Year 11 (Sept/October 2000) after the Mosswarts [Arrgkh Mearrgkh] handed him over to the Virindi.

The voices have returned... I can feel them, clawing at my sanity, ever pushing me to simply give in, to stop being me. I dont know what Ive done to ever deserve this. Im not a bad person; Ive never gone out of my way to hurt anyone. Im just an explorer... Perhaps writing down their story will quiet them again.
Candeth Martine was once an explorer of Dereth Exploration Society and I say he was a prolific writer, which he used as an outlet in coping with life and expressing his inner most thoughts.
Well that's my initial thoughts about the author of regarding the Virindi historical record - I could be wrong, as I have been many times before in the past on the onset of a new story arc :p
Whomever on the Dev team is writing the Virindi origins back story is doing a superb job with the tale. I love it!
The origins of the Virindi was certainly something I thought would never be revealed because it seemed like all along that element of "mystery" of them would remain, as are a lot of things in AC.
