Level Reduction Mechanic

Sounds bizarre i know, and I know there is life after 275, but I was curious if the code would allow the game to implement a mechanic to reduce your level by various increments.

Would there be any exploitation implications to this? It may just be that the ratio of dev time to people who would want to use such a feature is just too small to justify the work.

I only ask because i would like to un-max a few chars.

Thoughts? Any other thought besides i'm a loon?
