This game is difficult

AC2 is difficult to play, for all the wrong reasons.

It's entirely based upon group game play, yet has almost no community.
It's painful trying to make this game work when it's clearly designed to fail.

When I log into others games, I log in and start playing.
In AC2 I log in and wait 20-90 minutes to start playing.


There are periods of time when parties just are not feasible which leads to questing and solo game play. The quests are a nice change and worthwhile, but they only go so far.


The solo exp is trash.
Pet classes rely on items with ridiculous timers.

I crashed today which is common resulting in losing soul defract/curio which are nearly mandatory for a pet class to gain anything reasonable.


If you ever reach 85+ the game is pretty much dead for solo game play. The only mobs that provide exp beyond that are all group mobs. By that time finding a party of players still left around will be nearly impossible not to mention that and questing is the only way left to progress.


The groups are fading quickly and the necessity for sorc/chanter is sickening.


This game really looks like it has no future.
