Just thought I would let people know (who have not gone back and done it already) about the changes this patch to the Hive Queen Assault quest.

Long story short: The quest certainly got easier (many more people will now be able to enjoy & complete this), and the reward changes are absolutely worth it.
Quest Mechanic Changes:
- The 3 trials (Egg/Grubs/Virindi) are the hardest parts of this quest now IMO
- The jump down to the queen was removed and replaced with a portal
- Upon going through the portal you will be in a room w/ a few of the olthoi guardians and the fake queen (they have removed the void grubs entirely)
- When the fake queen dies the real queen appears by herself
- When the real queen dies you simply use the body and the head (if you are the killer) or the carapace (if you helped) appears in your pack, so have a free space! The number of these the body will hand out is unknown at this time
- After you get the body part, head in the portal & hand it to the virindi for rewards: 60,000 luminance and a 5 use LDK! The chests are right there in the room with the virindi to loot.
- 27 day timer on the quest now
All in all it was a bit surprising going in with expectations of the fight from last month, only to see see the queens now almost by themselves or with minimal mob support. That said, it is now going to be enjoyed by MANY more players and with the rewards being what they are now, this will absolutely be run regularly.
