So I'm just getting back into the game again. I see that alchemy lets us imperil/vuln things now apparently, are these effects equivalent 100% to the life spells? Also, the life spells have a chance to be resisted, what is used for the resistance of alchemy?
Next question, do I need thrown weapons to effectively use alchemy to debuff things? Basically I want to make a melee character that can debuff with alchemy rather than having to have life magic (obviously) but I'm wondering what i need to do to make it the most effective.
Also, I've seen some comments that cooking can now be about as effective as healing, what is the down side considering cooking costs less skill-point wise?
