I'm a returning player, played from initial retail for a few years. Starting over again with new avatars. I have played a couple of toons thru the facility hub quests and a little general hunting to get some feel for the game again. I have always played an Archer, either bow or crossbow, so I'm looking for some input on templates.
Was thinking something like this.
0/0/100/0/100/100 spec: creature/melee d./missile weapons train: fletching then item and life by lvl 40
Used to play an xbow toon with a setup something like this. Went magic yield, imp, vuln, HtM, Drain life, then bow/xbow to death.
Would this be a viable archer with the new changes? Any ideas on a better template would welcomed. Also wondering if there is any major difference between bow and xbow now that they are part of the same skill, I assume that xbow still hits harder and slower than bow, but I'm not sure of a reason to pick one over the other.
