Looking for a patron/allegiance

I have worked my way up to level 30 and I have been feeling a social barrier over the last couple of levels and when I used to play this game being in an allegiance was huge. I was hoping by now I would run into an individual or group who I responded well with and asked me about joining, but alas that has not happen for the most part.

Hopefully I can get more luck on the forums, or at least tips about different allegiances on the server.
