In light of this quote I thought I'd start this thread. This is NOT about raising the overall lum from all quests. It is about discussing specific quests whose risk/time involvement do not match up to their rewards!
I figured I'd go ahead and mention the 3 biggest/toughest new quests and their rewards:
Hoshino Infiltration - 22k
Hoshino Must Die - 50k
Olthoi Hive Queen - 30k
Hoshino Infiltration ~ 90 min against top tier mobs
HMD - A few hrs vs top tier mobs
Olthoi Hive Queen - Bells alone are 15 min (but easy) but you need to collect bells, get everyone "sprayed", run 3 trials and then fight the queen while handling some nice void dmg.
Comparatively - other group quests
Aerbax is 35k for 15-30 min vs annoying but not very dangerous mobs except for boss and shadow minons
Deewain is 40k for an hr work vs easy mobs except for boss
Bloodstone Investigation is 40 for 90 min vs moderately tough mobs (gurogs)
Saving Asheron is 25k for ~90 min (with a full group to keep track of) vs joke mobs except for smiting boss and even comes with perching spots.
The newest 2 quests XP rewards would suggest they are marginally tougher/longer than the old top XP rewarding quests (I'm excluding Geraine hosts) but anyone who has run them can tell you Deewain and Bloodstone are significantly easier and quicker than either Hive Queen or Hoshino Must Die.
*Please keep this thread discussing only the major quests whose returns are not worth the time/risk. This is not meant to be a hunting vs questing debate or a plea to up all lum quest rewards*
