Quick update.
We are working on the hotfix. We hope to have it up on Tuesday, but it could be pushed out until later in the week. The hotfix will have the following upgrades:
~ The chat selector is fixed.
~ The housing panel is fixed.
~ The key for opening the examination panel also closes it if the panel is already open.
~ The combat bar can be resized the entire width of the screen.
~ The 3D area can be resized just like other panels.
~ You can go to the edge of the window and drag any edge of the 3D panel.
~ This will allow people to relocate the 3D space and set up panels in an area around the 3D view.
~ There is now a saveui and loadui command.
~ If you use @saveui with no file name parameter, it saves the current layout to a file called UI-Default.txt in the folder with your preferences.
~ When you use @loadui with no file name parameter it loads that layout from UI-Default.txt.
~ If you specify a filename with @saveui it will save your layout to <filename>.txt.
~ If you specify a filename with @loadui it will attempt to load your layout to <filename>.txt.
~ There is also a @saveautoui command.
~ @saveautoui will save your layout in a special file specific to your character and resolution.
~ If you change resolution while logged on that character the game will attempt to load the layout you saved with @saveautoui.
~ You could save a layout for each resolution you like to use and when you swap to that resolution it will autoload your layout.
~ There is a @loadautoui command to force a load, but I don't expect that it needs to be used.
~ When you log into a new character the panels should default to a more sensible layout.
We are also working on a @lockui command that will toggle the ui lock in case you manage to end up with the radar hidden or obscured.
