I made a void mage, and the damage doesn't seem to be as good as war magic -- only difference seems to be that you don't have to vuln before attacking, but it seems like vuln+war is much higher damage than void on its own. I'd like to hear some thoughts on this...has anyone tried both void and war, and have a preference? If it helps, I don't really care about PVP -- I get the feeling void might be better for PVP.

Saw that for other old games.
It would be great if Turbine open a new kickstarter project to release major upgrades on AC1.
Something like a new 3D engine, a new extension or anything that could bring back all the players who are just waiting for that ;)
I know it's a lot of work.
If Turnine doesn't want to put money on that.
Could they just ask the needed money to the community ?
That would be great to refresh the best MMORPG ever !

Summoner templates, play styles and Summoner end game plans, please share
Hey all, I'm curious to know what people are doing with their summons. I know on SC most people are void/summon. I went with bow/summon.
I pretty much stole my summoner template right from some other guy's post: "summoning is awesome"
100 endurance/willpower/coord....spec melee D/Missle Weapons/Summoning/assess critter and plan to aug quickness to 60 eventually (all the typical trained skills, healing/mana c, the 3 non war magics, fletching and so on)
I have him in a 5 peice wise suit and some random no-set legendaries (summoning & will power)
With just the 5 peice wise and epic end, Legendary summoning/willpower he gets high enough to drop the highest summons (haven't been in an area where he gets debuffed yet but when he is "high end" I'll just pop society dispel gems.
Eventually I want him in 5 peice wise/ 4 peice defender since with only 60 quickness his melee D will be hurting a bit.
Play style?
So far I'm having a blast with this new skill! It may not have the most synergistic attributes, but I feel the benefits balance that out. I don't even have many good summons yet (highest one i have is level 200 damage 13 so far).
So far my play style has been this:
Drop the summon and shoot arrows in my enemy's back while the summoner takes him on. Sometimes its that in reverse! I have a brassed up peirce rend bow for when I'm getting hit too much so that's my way around the non-maxed melee Defense
Other than fighting, lots of other fun things you can do with this skill:
1) use it as a decoy. Example: any of the apostate quests that involve running through a lugian mine to get to the dungeon portal. Drop the summon in the middle and watch most of the lugies go for it while you run safely to the portal.
2) Drop one at the Sylun drop and see all the auroch bull corpses 2 seconds later!
3) Drop it in the cow pen in teth and do the same thing (this NEVER gets old)
The absolute coolest thing is that not everything will attack only you when you drop your summon, which is pretty cool.
I think once this guy hits 275 I'llt ake up sneak attack for higher damage when I'm shooting things from behind while the summon does its thing. As far as the 2 lumi skill credits, will probably not even bother on this toon unless later down the road, he gets fully lumed and I have nothing else to spend the credits on, then I'll spec lore for the heck of it.

I have the latest version and I keep getting this error:

Unable to login game
I just tried to login using the launcher. I type in my PW and it just sits there and nothing happens. I tried a couple times with no results.

High Tier Rares - Armor/Weapons/Jewelry
Please reconsider phasing out the hardest item to get in the game, if you find it to be so much of a benefit then why was it ever added? or for that matter allowed to exist as is for so long?
Please look at the feedback from the people posting about it, no one wants this now.. and when we did Turbine never cared to change it.
I didn't pay cash for my rare armor that I just got.. and worked so very hard for. I do not doubt there are other people who worked very hard for their rares to although I'm sure some might have paid cash for it.
Either way to through the hardest item in the game on a mule because you deem it to beneficial for PvE and PvP is a tremendous waste.. and I have no doubt you would get a lot of negative feedback even some people quitting if you really attempt to phase out these items.. if you feel this way like I said they should have never been upgraded like they were 2 years ago, with that said you are a day late and a dollar short when it comes to balancing out rares.. and I don't care for being yanked around like this.
I will be unsubbing if this is really what is trying to be done in the game and I have no doubt many more will, you have other issues driving players away.. handle those first? like the lag? I would really like to keep playing this game but at this rate if the lag isn't fixed in the next couple of months I seriously doubt there will be anyone to play with.

Geraine's Host Quest Rewards
My allegiance ran all 7 host for the xp weekend due to the massive lum. We also noticed that this quest was on the list of quests that were updated for Legendary Keys. Upon finishing all the hosts and turning in the tomes we did not receive and Legendary Keys. We recieved the Lum and the XP but would have really enjoyed the Legendary pulls. Can we get a reply from a dev when the rewards will be fixed? Thank You

Cloak - the ring animation.
Not sure if people on white servers encounter the same issue as people on Darktide.. but the ring animation is killing me (quite literally).
Mage vs Mage: I get hit and if my cloak proc's I am 100% going to get hit again because I am stuck in the ring animation.
Is there anything that can be done about this? I realize it's not top priority but I found this level 4 cloak that is 100% awesome aside from the fact I seem to keep getting stuck in the ring when it proc's..
Which on DT pretty much makes every cloak useless unless it's -200 dmg or skills surge.

No currency / recall for Hoshino.. Why?
Is this something you might consider adding? doesn't make sense that there is no recall for the area or that the mobs do not drop currency.
